VERY low tech! Almost brainless! This printmaking method uses a white line linocut, but no press. Water media is painted directly onto the linocut plate. Then any non-watercolor paper can immediately be pressed gently by hand onto the painted plate. A somewhat random and unpredictable offset occurs neatly sidestepping any "touch of the hand," and easily exposing and exploiting the tension zone between representational and abstract.
